Exciting times..

The Kansas Jayhawks Men’s Basketball program advanced to the Final Four yesterday for the first time since 2003, when they lost to Carmello Anthony and the dreaded cornrowed Syracuse Orange(men). Before we worry about any championships this year, however, we gotta first play a seriously good Tar Heels team and some guy named Roy “I could give a shit about North Carolina” Williams. The Jayhawk faithful have been waiting for this matchup for five years now. That it’s happening in a national semifinal is the stuff of legend. There’s a significant chance that i will watch this game on television.

Speaking of television: I just finished watching the Royals season opener – a barn-burner with the division rival Detroit Tigers – and i really couldn’t be happier. The online TV thing through MLB.com is much improved over last season, the game went to 11 innings (that’s 2 innings of free baseball), and KC wins in dramatic fashion.
Post-script: I promise new Royals’ manager, Trey Hillman, doesn’t usually look that much like Charlie Manson. (Believe me, it’s weirding me out too..)
